How JPGZAP Works

JPGZAP uses client-side processing, which means:

• When you select or drag an image, it's read directly from your device using your browser's built-in File API.
• The conversion from JPG to PNG happens entirely in your browser using JavaScript and HTML5 Canvas.
• The converted PNG file is generated on your device and offered for download.
• No data is transmitted to any server during this process.

Analytics

We collect minimal, anonymous usage statistics to understand how many people use our service and improve performance. This includes:

• Aggregate conversion counts (total number of conversions globally)
• Average conversion speed (for performance monitoring)

These statistics are anonymous and cannot be linked to individual users or specific images.

Cookies

JPGZAP does not use cookies for tracking or data collection. The only cookies we may use are strictly necessary for the basic functionality of the website.

Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Cloudflare: For content delivery and DDoS protection. Cloudflare may collect standard web server logs. See Cloudflare's Privacy Policy.
• CDN Resources: We load Font Awesome icons from a CDN for performance. No tracking data is collected.

Your Rights
